We still attend worship services, but our hearts feel arid and empty. We read God's word, but there is no longer any power moving our hearts. We become Christians whose actions are driven merely by external habits, losing that sweet intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

Today, at the beginning of this new month, God desires to rekindle the spiritual fire that had gone out within your heart. God is not looking for our perfection; He only longs for a heart that thirsts and hungers for His presence. No amount of busyness should ever become an excuse for us to relegate God to second place, because from Him flows the source of all life's strength and wisdom. Let us cleanse the altars of our hearts from all the dust of disappointment, laziness, and digital distractions. Take specific time today to come and sit quietly at His feet, rebuild intimate communication with the Father, and let the fresh oil of anointing flow to fill the cup of your soul to face this month of July with supernatural power.
