FINISHING WHAT WAS STARTED

Real integrity is ultimately tested in our willingness to faithfully complete our duties down to the last requirement. In Exodus 40:1–16, we witness how Moses remained steadfastly resolved to obey God not merely in the grand blueprint, but down to the most exact instructions.

Moses received precise instructions to erect the Tabernacle, anoint its furnishings, and consecrate Aaron and his sons. This task was far more than setting up a physical tent; it was preparing a sanctuary for God's glory to dwell among Israel. Every object, from the veil to the altar, carried specific dimensions and purpose that could not be casually modified. Moses did not improvise or lower the standard simply because he was weary or wanted a quick finish. Moses' obedience is repeatedly emphasized in the scripture: 'according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.'

When God calls us to work, serve, or lead our families, He values our persistence in invisible details. We often desire to be used by God for grand manifestations, yet we resist obeying in small, daily routines. Having a resolute heart means choosing to finish what God entrusted to us, even when the process feels slow, lonely, and physically draining. Full obedience prepares the vessel for the manifestation of God's presence and glory in our daily lives.
