"The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him."
FORGET NOT ALL HIS BENEFITS
Take a moment to reflect: how many times have you experienced God's deliverance throughout your life? How many times has He opened a way when you reached a dead end, healed your sicknesses, and spared you from unseen dangers? The miraculous works God has wrought in our daily lives are truly beyond count.
Yet, the frailty of the human heart often causes us to fixate on present troubles, difficulties, and sufferings, making us easily forget His divine intervention. In Psalm 103:2, David recognized the danger of spiritual amnesia, commanding his own soul to bless the LORD and forget not all His benefits. Remembering God's goodness is our strongest fortress against anxiety and despair.
When life presses hard and human assistance is nowhere to be found, remember that God's faithfulness does not depend on our circumstances. Even when we are faithless and frail, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself. Look back to that first tender touch of Christ when He rescued and sustained your life.
Today's Reflection Points:
- Remembering God's Goodness: Do not let current trials erase the rich history of God's past deliverances in your life.
- Endless Faithfulness: Lean entirely upon His promises, for His loving hand is ever extended and never turns away a broken heart.
Perhaps your love and passion for the Lord are dimming under the crushing weight of life's burdens today. Do not allow the enemy to whisper the lie that God has abandoned you. Look back and count the countless blessings and perfect providence He has bestowed upon you. The same God who preserved you yesterday is the faithful God who secures your future today. Return to Him with a grateful heart and trust Him completely.
God bless you!
