HE NEVER FAILS

Passage: 'I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.' – Job 42:2

Three o'clock in the morning often stands as a silent witness to depleted human calculations. When neatly organized plans are crumpled because reality demands otherwise, the heart quietly cries out for direction. It was at a similar threshold that Job stood—not upon a pedestal of victory, but amidst the dark ashes of profound sorrow. Yet, from the depths of that brokenness emerged one of the clearest confessions in spiritual history: God never runs out of ways, and not a single purpose of His can ever be thwarted.

Job was not speaking out of cold theological theory. He had lost his livestock, his wealth, his children, and even the sympathy of his closest friends. However, when the Lord answered him out of the whirlwind, Job's focus shifted from the magnitude of his trial to the sovereignty of the Creator. We often attach the word 'failure' to God when our prayers are not answered according to our personal timeline. Yet, our disappointment is not evidence of God's failure, but rather the limitation of our finite vision that cannot yet see the full tapestry of His sovereign design.

When doors of opportunity slam shut or family crises show no immediate resolution, faith is not called to comprehend every step of the journey, but to trust His unwavering character. The same God who upholds the cosmic galaxies is the God who holds every thread of your life today. Not one of His decisions is miscalculated, and not one of His promises falls short along the way.
