Have you ever observed a swarm of locusts? Individually, a locust is a small, fragile creature that is easily overlooked. However, when they move together in orderly formation, no obstacle can halt their progress. The writer of Proverbs highlights this as a remarkable piece of creation's wisdom for our daily lives.

Proverbs 30:27 reminds us that locusts have no earthly leader or king to command them, yet they advance in perfect order. Their success and strength lie not in their physical size or individual prowess, but in their unity, orderliness, and humility to march together. In God's Kingdom, the Holy Spirit unites us as members of the body of Christ so that we may complement one another.

Quite often, we feel small, insignificant, or lacking prominent positions to make a meaningful difference around us.
