THE FAITHFUL AND PROVIDING SHEPHERD

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of modern life, filled with demands and anxiety, humans often feel lacking and continuously chase worldly things to fill the void of the soul. We are frequently worried about the future, daily needs, and the direction of our steps. However, the Psalmist David reminds us of a beautiful truth regarding our relationship with the Creator: that the Lord is the Shepherd who perfectly cares for our lives.

When David wrote "The LORD is my shepherd", he used his personal experience as a shepherd to describe God's intimate and responsible love. As the Good Shepherd, God does not only provide for our physical needs like "green pastures", but He also restores our soul beside "still waters".
