THE LORD IS OUR BANNER

In our daily lives, we often face exhausting struggles, whether they are workplace challenges, family battles, or internal spiritual warfare. Standing in the middle of life's battlefield, it is not uncommon to feel weary and on the verge of giving up. However, the Bible reminds us that we never fight alone. There is a banner of victory constantly flying over our lives.

When Israel fought against Amalek at Rephidim, Moses realized that victory was not determined solely by military strength, but by the presence of God. As long as Moses held up his hands toward heaven, Israel prevailed. After victory was achieved, Moses built an altar and named it "Jehovah Nissi," meaning The LORD is my Banner. In ancient times, a banner served as a symbol of identity, protection, and victory for an army. Acknowledging God as our Banner means placing our full trust and refuge solely in His strength.

Knowing God as Jehovah Nissi transforms how we view every problem. Our victory does not come from our own greatness, strategy, or cleverness, but from Christ who won the ultimate battle on the cross. When you feel weak and exhausted today, come beneath the banner of His love and power. Surrender all your anxieties and let Him fight on your behalf.
