BECOMING SALT
Salt plays a remarkably vital role in cooking. Food tastes flat and uninspiring without it. Salt is subtle, used in modest amounts, and its physical form practically disappears once it mixes into a dish. Yet, it produces a profound effect without needing to draw attention to itself.
We are the salt of the earth. The function of salt is not to showcase its own shape, but to bring out flavor. The exact same principle applies to our lives. We do not need to busy ourselves with broadcasting our own greatness to those around us. Instead, we let others experience the genuine taste of grace and sincerity flowing from our lives, without keeping a ledger of payback or demanding applause.
How is our daily life looking right now? Are we effectively adding a wholesome flavor to the people in our immediate circle, or has our presence turned bland and devoid of any real impact? Let us keep spreading genuine love and goodness wherever we go.
