BEYOND OUR CAPACITY TO COUNT
Take a moment to reflect: how many times have you experienced God's rescue throughout your life? How many times did He open a door when you stood at a dead end? How many prayers were answered, sicknesses healed, and how many times were you pulled back from hidden dangers? The list is beyond measure. We simply lack the capacity to tally up all that God has done for us day after day.
Yet, a staggering number of believers fixate so intensely on their current problems, hardships, and pains that they effortlessly erase the memory of God's active hand in their lives. The bitter irony is this: even when we prove unfaithful and prone to wandering, God consistently demonstrates His unending loyalty. If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny who He is.
When the heavy squeeze of life's trials dims your love for God, force yourself to remember the first love you experienced when His touch first found you. Return to a posture of gratitude and anchor your trust entirely in Him.
