DO NOT STAY ANCHORED IN THE PAST
Inside the memory bank of every human being, there are countless stored recollections, ranging from sweet, joyful experiences to bitter, heart-wrenching failures. Yet, a peculiar irony often disrupts our spiritual journey: we tend to remember too vividly the things we ought to leave behind, while easily forgetting the very Person we should constantly remember, which is God. Especially during times of ease and comfort, people frequently overlook the Giver of all blessings.
As believers, we are called to make a firm resolution: lock the door to the past and stop mourning over it. It is utter foolishness to continuously self-condemn over yesterday's mistakes and failures. What we must actually do is extract wisdom from those failures and press forward with a renewed commitment. No matter how many times you stumbled in the past, what truly matters is how many times you get back up and anchor yourself once again in God's grace.
Let us pour all our remaining energy and strength into carving out a future with God. Stop looking backward. Direct your focus and life's destination toward Christ, and you will share in His ultimate glory.
