THE CROWN OF A WOMAN
An insightful proverb reminds us that a woman may appear fragile on the outside, but she possesses a core of steel within. She is the glue that holds a household together when the storms of life arrive. Fulfilling the calling of a woman, a wife, and a mother is an unreserved devotion. Often, a woman must set aside her own ambitions, sacrifice her sleep, and trade the bloom of her youth to nurture new life. She functions as a medic when a child spikes a fever in the dead of night, an advisor when a husband hesitates, and an intercessor when the family stands on the brink. Ironically, this noble routine is frequently overlooked. Her exhaustion goes unasked about, and her silent tears upon the pillow escape notice. Yet, know this: God views a woman with immense value. She was not created from the foot to be trampled, but from the rib, close to the arm to be protected, and close to the heart to be continually cherished.
Today's Reflection Points:
- Tears As The Language of Prayer: When exhaustion strips away your words, your falling tears in the prayer closet speak a language deeply understood by the heavenly throne. A woman's prayer is the load-bearing pillar that sustains her household.
- Gentleness Is True Strength: The world dictates that a woman must become harsh to survive, but God calls you to cultivate a gentle and quiet spirit, for therein lies the true crown of your strength.
To the women: You are not required to be flawless in every endeavor. Allow yourselves a moment of rest at the feet of Jesus. To the husbands and children: Do not let the woman who cares for your life feel isolated. Guard her heart, and do not let the silence of the night remain the sole listener to her quiet burdens.
