DO NOT BE A STUMBLING BLOCK
Walking through a dark room and stubbing your toe on a small, unseen stone causes a sharp, immediate pain. It is ironic how something so small can completely derail a full-grown human being. This simple physical reality holds a profound mirror to how we live out our faith in everyday society. As Christians, our daily presence carries two contrasting trajectories: we can either act as a cornerstone pointing people toward the love of Christ, or we become a stumbling block that repels them. Often, outsiders do not reject Jesus because of intellectual objections, but because they are exhausted by the hypocrisy of believers whose high-sounding words completely clash with worldly actions. When we lean heavily on our personal freedom by saying, 'It is my right, I can dress or post whatever I want,' we might win a legal argument before human standards, yet trample upon the fragile faith of others. True Christian maturity requires us to calibrate our jokes, our business dealings, and our social media habits so that our selfishness never sabotages the credibility of the Gospel. Let us navigate life with profound spiritual sobriety, refusing to let our careless lifestyle block someone else's journey toward salvation.
