GIVING FROM SCARCITY
Secular society always teaches a calculating economic principle: 'Accumulate as much wealth as possible for your own security, and only then set aside a small portion of your abundance to give.' Yet, the law of the Kingdom of God turns that logic upside down: 'Give, and it will be given to you.' As human beings, we often make various excuses to justify ourselves. We think, 'Once my business is successful, then I will donate.' Or, 'Once my schedule clears up, then I will serve God.' In reality, giving when we are experiencing abundance feels natural and ordinary. However, continuing to give when we ourselves are facing scarcityโthat is where the true test of faith lies! The Lord Jesus did not praise the wealthy who gave extravagant offerings out of their surplus. Instead, He commended a poor widow who gave only two small copper coins, because that widow surrendered all the livelihood she had with faith. Giving does not make us poor; rather, it is a spiritual means to detach our hearts from the grip of money and material worship. When our hands are clenched tight to hold onto what we possess, they cannot receive anything new. When our hands are open to give, that is when we are ready to receive a fresh outpouring of blessings from Him. Never be afraid to share with others. God's grace will never run dry or stall for those who possess a generous heart. No matter how small what you have right now may seem, if surrendered with sincere love, God will transform it into a miracle for someone else.
