IN TRANQUILITY, THERE IS PEACE
Human beings possess an absolute limitation of perspective. We are only able to see what is directly in front of our eyes today, yet we have zero power to pierce through the veil of tomorrow, let alone look ten years into the future. Ironically, this ignorance frequently triggers anxiety. Some individuals work frantically day and night out of an excessive fear regarding their retirement security. On the other hand, others live recklessly, burning through money to chase temporary pleasures under the excuse of 'enjoying life while we are still young.' Both extremes are born from a restless heart that completely lacks tranquility. Inner calm is a luxury item that cannot be purchased with material wealth. The Word of God instructs us to cast away rushed desires. To attain peace, we must learn to discipline ourselves: do not dwell on negative things that do not need to be heard, do not gaze upon corruption that does not need to be seen, and do not speak of ugliness that does not need to be discussed. Waiting rooms of God's promises often feel extremely boring and tedious. Yet, it is precisely within that waiting room that God is working out the best for the maturation of our patience character. Furthermore, God does not promise a world free from pressure, but He promises peace right in the middle of pressure. True peace is only attained when we release our control and surrender the future into His hands. Not a single promise of God fails to be fulfilled. Stop living in anxiety that tortures the soul. Cultivate a calm, peaceful, and patient disposition. Keep walking according to His will, and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds. -TPC. God bless you!
